Session length: 4 weeks, 6:00-8:00pm on Monday evenings

First Session runs: March 29 through April 19

Second Session runs: July 12 through August 2

Cost: $195 (4 consecutive weeks of 2-hour classes)

Maximum number of students: 12

Age appropriate: 18 and older

About Shane Peterman:

Shane Peterman (Producing Artistic Director- WaterTower Theatre, Co-Founder/CEO-The Acting Studio) is a native Dallas Texan who has worked extensively with theatres across the country as an actor, director, educator, and facilitator for nearly 25 years and now leads Addison’s highly acclaimed professional theatre, WaterTower Theatre. Most recently Shane was Producer for Lyric Stage and was instrumental in relocating it to Dallas’ historic Majestic Theatre and programming award winning seasons. Shane, along with his wife Erica, also own and operate The Acting Studio, North Texas’ largest independently owned children’s theatre program with four locations. As an actor, he has performed many leading roles across North America and Europe including New York City. As a solo vocalist, he has been accompanied by leading orchestra's around the world in various venues including Carnegie Hall. Shane has also worked in television and studied in both the U.S. and the U.K. with many top industry professionals including Sanford Meisner Protege' Fred Kareman. To date WaterTower Theatre has successfully and safely captured four digital theatrical productions during the COVID-19 Pandemic, one of the first in the U.S to do so. As CEO of The Acting Studio, Mr. Peterman has safely overseen three successful live theatrical presentations during the COVID-19 Pandemic and safely resumed classes both digitally and in person.

About Vonda K. Bowling:

Vonda K. Bowling is a sought-after Music Director, Pianist, Accompanist, Conductor, Voice Teacher, and Vocal Coach in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Before all live performances shut down in 2020, Mrs. Bowling worked at many theatres in the DFW area including the 2017 Tony Award Winning Dallas Theater Center and Casa Manana in Ft. Worth. In her 15 years of Music Directing, she has had the privilege to work with many Broadway and Off-Broadway Music Directors, Conductors, Directors, Choreographers and Actors; including Stephen Oremus, Rickey Tripp, Dan Domenech, and Mr. Hermes himself, Andre De Shields. Music Directing credits: Dallas Theater Center: In the Heights, Public Works Dallas: As You Like It; Public Works Dallas: A Winter’s Tale; Hairspray, Hair; Hood; Public Works Dallas: The Tempest; The Christians; Bella; Dreamgirls; A Christmas Carol (2015-2019); MOONSHINE: That Hee Haw Musical; The Rocky Horror Show. For the last 14 years, Mrs. Bowling, along with Mark Mullino have directed Dallas Young Artists, a successful musical theatre summer camp for ages 6-18. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Shorter College in Rome, Georgia and an MFA in Voice Performance from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. She lives in Rowlett, TX with her husband Jeffrey, their sons Harrison and Mason, their dog Ranger, and their cats Sonny and Nina (yes, like In the Heights). She dedicates every performance to the memory of Terry Dobson (TD), her music directing mentor.
