One Man, Two Guvnors

About One Man, Two Guvnors

Set in swingin' 1963 London, One Man, Two Guvnors is a laugh-out-loud mix of satire, songs, slapstick and nimble wordplay. The disarming Francis Henshall finds himself trapped into working for two bosses who are connected in wildly improbable ways. He just has to keep them from discovering each other. This topsy-turvy world of love triangles and mistaken identities has been a huge hit since it opened at London's National Theatre in 2011 and on Broadway in 2012. It's a delicious mash-up of splendid comedy, British pantomime and music-hall revues, all backed by live musicians paving homage to rockabilly and a certain Fab Four.
