Seeking Assistant to the Producing Artistic Director

WaterTower Theatre (WTT) is now hiring an Assistant to the Producing Artistic Director. WaterTower Theatre is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The successful candidate will need to pass a standard background check.

Specific job duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with artistic-related tasks including auditions, script/artist submission organization, e-communication with artists, etc
  • Assist Marketing with compiling assets (Belt Line digital board, Playbills, etc)
  • Assist PAD and Associate Producer with contract delivery and onboarding documentation for productions
  • Check email daily and respond to emails promptly
  • Write thank-you notes to Benefactors of the Theatre
  • Assist with website and social media content as requested
  • Use Audience Access for entering data into playbill templates under the direction of the Associate Producer
  • Use Airtable (audition & actor portal) & Sign Up Genius to set up auditions under the direction of the Associate Producer
  • Update the Master Calendar, as needed
  • Check the mail and process
  • Assist with data entry and filing (digital & physical)
  • Complete various HR & Equity reporting tasks
  • Pick up/delivery of marketing collateral, as needed
  • General proofreading & document formatting
  • Other duties as assigned

Reports to: Producing Artistic Director

Works with: Associate Producer

Hours: Max 12hrs/week, schedule to be arranged with PAD, some flexible hours Hourly Pay Rate: $15/hr
